About the Artist

Nadia Lee is a fine artist and an elementary and middle school visual arts teacher with Denver Public Schools. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. After moving to Colorado in 2000, Nadia participated in various art shows, having her first solo show in September 2003, The Colorado Arts Festival May 2004, and The Copper Mountain Arts Festival, in September 2004. In 2006 Nadia attended The University of Denver in 2006 and obtained her Teacher Education certification in K-12 Art in May 2007. Her painted works focus on the human form and images from the natural world within a push/pull and collaged background.
