The Story Behind the Painting: I love the spring time. Color is everywhere and the atmosphere is vibrant and fresh with life. The trees are budding, the grass is growing, and the flowers are starting to bloom. It is an exciting leap away from the deadness of winter into that which is new and full of life. I wanted to express that same level of excitement and vitality as I created this painting.

About the Artist

Dave Reiter was born and raised in Montana. Upon graduating, Dave moved to Denver, CO to pursue a graphic design degree from the Art Institute of Colorado. Now painting with a focus on nature, landscapes and water, Dave encourages viewers to participate in each painting by taking a moment to reflect on their own lives. Dave has been chosen to participate in several prominent exhibitions throughout Colorado and has also shown nationally. He participates in a number of fundraising events and he showcases his work at numerous festivals across Colorado and the US and has recently moved into the gallery scene.
